If you want sound quality and detail, you can't go wrong. Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones also work with
flex, foam or triple flange accessory sleeves for a perfect fit. It has a 1/8" plug, which makes it perfect for use
with a lot of other audio applications, too.
In fact, Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones use the same components professionals do to monitor their own
performances while they're on stage. They have tuned port technology and high-definition drivers, to give you the
ultimate in ultra-wide frequency, amazing bass and incredible high notes.
Some considerations:
It will take you a little bit to learn how to use Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones correctly. Insert them
carefully for best sound quality. In addition, you can't really remove them quickly and will have to do so
carefully. Because they seat so securely in your ear, they also take some care to remove; you can't do so quickly
without risking a "sucking" effect when you take them out.
In addition, Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones are so good at isolating outside sounds that they can be
dangerous to use outside. In short, don't drive with them and don't use them if you have to hear what's going on
around you.
It's also going to take you a little bit of time to get used to wearing Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones. The
feeling you get when you put them in your ears at first is as if you're underwater. You'll be able to hear internal
body noises and you have a little bit of pressure in your ears. The attached cords will also make "reverberation"
noises in your ears if you scrape them across your clothing.
And even though Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones produce superior sound quality, they can only work with what
you give them. Therefore, some of your reproduced media, like MP3s or CDs you've burned yourself, may actually
sound worse on Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones than they do on regular headphones. This is because Shure E4c
Sound Isolating Earphones will pick up imperfections as clearly as they pick up the amazing sound clarity on a
cleanly burned piece of audio. That might mean that you have to be prepared to get picky about the media you listen
to.
That said, though, E4c Sound Isolating Earphones are so comfortable that you can actually sleep while you're
wearing them. That's another bonus if you have to ride a noisy subway to work or have a long plane ride to endure.
Again, though, be careful; you can't remove these quickly, so be prepared to have to remove them gently and slowly
to avoid an uncomfortable "sucking" effect when you pull them out.
